I’m finding the writing a bit dry this time around, but I’m also thinking he’s done this on purpose – trying to reflect the times when Mann lived, and slightly mirroring Mann’s own style.

I really feel like I don’t read that much compared to others! I used to be 12 books a month but for the last year I just haven’t quite gotten back to that but it’s my goal. I need to watch less TV, I think!
