I’m half-way through The Night Ship by Jess Kidd as I’m reviewing it for the ABC Bookshelf in July, and it is a fantastic story with some of the best characterisation I’ve read in a long while. I reckon you’ll really enjoy it Therese.

The joke made me laught. I worked at a gym in the nineties and often would say to members, “Paying your membership doesn’t mean the exercise gets done!”
