Winter is here and so is the cold and flu season. Too many people around me have been hit with one bug or another. I’m holding fast and so far, so good. Fingers crossed I can make it through uninfected!

Once again, it’s a dog life, as in, he’s up to nothing but relaxing 24/7 and having every need attended to. But when you’re this adorable, it’s to be expected, I suppose. At least he gives warm hugs!

LOL During this cold snap, my Amber has discovered the electric blanket. Usually I turn it off when I get into bed so she knew nothing about it. She sleeps in her crate anyway and is only on the bed during the day so that she can monitor the front pathway for intruders, dividing her time between her vantage points from the bedroom and sitting-room windows. (*wink* This means that we don’t need to rely on the doorbell.)
But while I’ve been sick, I’ve turned the electric blanket on early in the morning so that it was warm when I came back to bed after early morning ablutions. And a couple of times I’ve forgotten to turn it off,
*chuckle* This may be a solution to the barking problem, at least in Winter!

Ooooh Zeus must be the BEST winter companion! So warm and snuggly! Fyodor Dogstoyevsky does his best, but he’s a very small heat source (and still too much of a puppy to sit still for long)…

Oh, he is built for winter comfort. Very snuggly and soft, plus, super lazy and quite content to just lie for hours, days even, if required. 😂
