Delighted and honoured to have a cover quote on the newly re-released copy of The Truth and Addy Loest by Kim Kelly.

The rest of the week was work, eat, read, sleep, repeat, with a splash of this thrown in yesterday while football trials were held at the coast.

I did buy a full conference pass for this weekend’s online HNSA conference, but as is usual for me, I have so far watched zero sessions. Fortunately, all sessions, excluding chat salons and workshops, will be made available to ticket holders for three months after the event. To be honest, this is the only reason I bought the ticket. I just don’t have enough time to sit all weekend watching, despite wanting to. At least this way, I can leisurely work my way through the program. I really hope digital conferences continue post Covid lockdowns.

I smiled when I read: ‘I did buy a full conference pass for this weekendโs online HNSA conference, but as is usual for me, I have so far watched zero sessions.’ That really resonated with me. I was pleased to know I wasn’t the only one who might do such a thing.

You can always count on me to do something like this, you’ll never be alone there!

I am brain dead from watching the HNSA most of yesterday. I had it running on my laptop while I did some tedious busy work on my desktop!
PS Congrats on being quoted!

How was today’s viewing? It’s a shame I couldn’t catch some of the salons but I had half of yesterday taking youngest son to the coast for football trials and half of today working, all the time in between devoted to weekend housework. I’m sure I’ll enjoy what streams though.

It was great, there are still some sessions to watch once they’re up online:)

It certainly was a packed program.
They did well in the organising of it.

Yes, it doesn’t happen all that often! But we do set a lot of readers in the path of many, many books.

Utterly delighted! I’ve had one other back cover quote, on the smaller edition of Kylie Ladd’s The Way Back, but thatโs all. Very exciting!

I’ve actually got a post drafted about the fact that I can’t seem to get into ‘watching’ conferences or Facebook live or book launches etc. I used Zoom a lot for work in the early done and all of my uni stuff was online but I just can’t ‘do’ it for anything else…. Having said that, another friend (Chrissie) participated in some of the sessions on the weekend and I think she loved them, so I’m sure you’ll enjoy them when you get to them.

I am absolutely hopeless with live events, particularly when there are time zone differences. So now it’s daylight savings, there’s no chance I will watch anything live. I have the best of intentions, but usually somewhere between registering for an event and the event happening, I just don’t get there. I like having the flexibility of watching something when it suits me, be it 10 in the morning or 10 at night.
I’ll look out for that post of yours in the coming weeks.
