I’d say I’m all settled in now with only 13 boxes of books left to unpack. Waiting on shelves to be delivered so this will be a work in progress over time.

What I’ve been watching:
My youngest son and I have been watching Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson movies this week since it’s school holidays for him. We watched all three Meet the Parents movies along with Starsky and Hutch. I’d already seen them all but it’s been fun watching them with him and seeing how much he enjoys them.
I also watched The Witches with my daughter before she headed back to uni. I really liked this new adaptation. There was nothing wrong with the previous one but I don’t mind a good remake of an old favourite.
TV wise, I finished this Stan series off this week as well. Very different and clever, I quite enjoyed it.

It’s a great follow up to the first two. Picks up 5 or 6 years on from Meet the Fockers. I really enjoyed it.

I’m reading The Jam Queens this week.
There’s nothing more satisfying than shelving books, I’m having to box some because I’ve run out of space for any more til a kid or two moves out 🙂

I bought another set of shelves yesterday from Bunnings and my youngest son asked if I was just going to keep on buying shelves and wasn’t that a bit ridiculous. No. It’s not ridiculous, it’s my actual plan. There’s a problem with that? 😂

Only 13 boxes!! Very excited for your next update on unpacking them and shelving – it’s kind of like Christmas (even though you already own everything in them and you already know what’s in there, but still!). I really need to get around to watching Made For Love, so many people have recommended it, thank you for the reminder. Happy unpacking!

There were 18 boxes initially so I’m making progress. It is a surprise with each box though and so many of these books have not been shelved in years. It’s a treat knowing they will all have their little slice of shelf soon.
Made for Love was good. The finale was clever too and there is a lot in that show to unpack about consent and respect.
