I am now on holidays for three weeks. As far as Christmas school holiday breaks go, it’s my shortest in forever, but it is what it is and I intend on making the most of it. 🎄📚☕🥂

What I’ve been watching:

Mrs America was riveting, exactly the sort of historical drama I enjoy most. It has a brilliant cast too. It’s about the fight to ratify the Equal Rights Amendment in the US and Phyllis Schlafly’s fight to block it with her anti-feminist agenda. Women fighting women in order to block women’s rights; I was never not watching this.

The Undoing is a psychological thriller/crime mystery and it was a real treat to watch Nicole Kidman and Hugh Grant play the leads together in this. A gripping whodunit!

I’m not a fan of the cheesy American Christmas/Romance movies that are all over Netflix. This all new Australian Christmas film set in the SA outback was a lovely treat to watch instead, streaming through Stan. Another one I highly recommend for a perfect blend of laughs, heartfelt moments, and Christmas cheer! And How to Make Gravy makes a well timed appearance in the soundtrack, so….enough said.
