The Week That Was…

How is it Friday again? Trying to get a photo with both dogs looking at the camera at the same time…as bad as children!

Masks are not mandatory here in Queensland but with my asthma, I figured some just in case ones might be ideal. I have eight from Contrado, all gorgeous, but this is by far my favourite.

What I’ve been watching:

I enjoyed my last session of #MWFDIGITAL on Sunday afternoon and I haven’t watched anything else since. What a great festival!

  1. LOL I’m still waiting on my masks to come in the post.
I thought I would ‘do a good thing’ by ordering some from an Indigenous design company, and paid over the going price because I liked the designs, but *sheesh* weeks later, but I’m still having to use disposable ones. And Woollies will only sell one packet of 3 per order, which is ridiculous. If you exercise every day and there’s two in the household, then you need 14 per week minimum.
I try to avoid going out and into shops as much as possible, but I keep having to go to the chemist for replacements…

    • That’s frustrating. These were ordered through the Contrado AU store but came from the UK. Got them within three weeks of ordering, which I was quite surprised by. I actually thought they were coming from Sydney but perhaps the designs I picked weren’t available here. No matter.
I understand the limits on disposable but the practicality of it is not ideal. I hope your masks come while you still need them. Although, in all honesty, I feel like we are moving towards more use of masks into the future as even with Covid contained, outbreaks may happen for a long time yet.

  2. Good luck photographing dogs. I have 2 dogs and 3 cats and my husband suggested I line them all up on the couch and photograph them. I just looked at him. I like the budgie mask if I can call it that. At least not a budgie smuggler.

  3. I requested Tiny Pieces of Us from Netgalley but when I tried to download it it kept on downloading a different book which was a bit odd. I’ll get this one from the library in due course.

    Have a great week.

    • Mine wouldn’t download at first, there was something strange about the file and I gave up. Then NetGalley brought in their new reading app and I downloaded it to check it out and Tiny Pieces of Us was loaded up on my shelf. Yet, when I went back into NetGalley, I couldn’t send it to Kindle or anything. Most odd! At least I got to read it in the end.
