This week has been more of a drag myself through it kind of a week, going from waking on Sunday with a headache that progressed by Monday to a migraine which then eased off on Thursday to a low level headache. Today is the first day I’ve felt human and fully functioning.
Our wet season is continuing, it’s a good one this year! Although it does make me realise how lucky we are that our heat normally is absent of humidity. I couldn’t live like this all year round – wet/hot/wet/hot!

Joke of the week:
Thanks to my sister for bringing this one to my attention! π

What I’ve been watching:
I only got one episode in, but this seems promising and plenty of people I know are telling me they loved it.

Book of the Week:

What I’m reading right now:
I’ve actually been reading this all week in fits and bursts between pain. It’s absolutely wonderful. I’m only about 40 pages from finishing but I think I’m going to return to this one again. It’s that kind of novel but I find Allende to be that kind of author.

Until next week… πβπ
Hope you are on the mend now, so sorry to hear you have battling illness all week. Yay to the rain, a great wet season. I’m looking forward to Allende’s new one and of course the new Stacy Halls! I hope you have a lovely weekend x

Better today, and still good this evening – thank goodness! I hate head pain. It stops everything from getting done. Enjoy your weekend xo

I must read another Isabel Allende novel, my cousin in Germany got me onto her, though it’s been years since I’ve picked one up, I quite enjoyed it too, very different to what I normally read.

Well, if you’re looking for the right one, this one is brilliant! My favourite of hers, I’d say.

The heat and humidity has been triggering migraines and headaches for me, but itβs raining today and Iβm feeling fine! I hope you stay well.
Love the joke!

I hope the break in the weather means you get a break from the pain. So far, I am good to go!
The rain must be a blessing in your area after fire.

Ugh. Nothing worse than the lingering migraine. I often get them in the first full week back of school. Hope you are back to 100% now.

I am now, thankfully! Of course it hit me at the beginning of a very busy week of work and I’ll be playing catch up for the week to come. At least it left me in time for the weekend!
