On a personal note:

Mistress Diva turned 10 during this week. Still a puppy at heart despite looking a bit grey. She brings us so much joy and serenity.

Until next week…😊☕📚

    • Her name suits her perfectly, she certainly seems to consider herself above normal dog behaviour. 😁
The breeder named her litter after racehorses, so on her papers she is Makybe Diva. We adopted her when she was 18 months as she had been sold as a puppy but then returned because she was ‘too big’. 🙄 Funny that, a German Shepherd growing large! So she had been called Diva by the breeder for almost a year by the time we got her. But really, never was a dog more suited to her name. Mistress is my special name for her, because she really is the Mistress of her domain, bossing our husky around at whim.

      • That’s a lovely story:)
We’ve had three Australian Silky Terriers: the first one was called Topaze (because that’s the colour of the fur on their paws), the second was called Sapphire because the council registration papers describe the breed as ‘blue, black and tan’ and the one we have now is called Amber because the fur on her head is the colour of amber. And all of them have been our little treasures, absolute gems…

  1. Hahaha, had to laugh at the joke of the week. I’ve just started watching Northern Rescue, so good, hope they don’t can it like they usually do when something is terrific.
Happy Birthday to Mistress Diva! Big dogs scare me, they have bigger mouths to eat you with lol, although our dog was little she could still chomp a big chunk out of you, hubby and I are lucky we still have our fingers but she did bite a chunk out of the top of his hand.
