I’ve been participating in and blogging for the Australian Women Writers Challenge for longer than I’ve been blogging right here. It’s a challenge that means a lot to me, not only has it introduced me to the wonderful world of blogging, it’s also brought a whole lot of fabulous people, bloggers, authors, and readers alike, into my life. This year, I read and reviewed 99 books. My target was 80, so I’m thrilled to have surpassed this well and truly. Throughout the year I’ve done a series of check-in posts so as to minimise my end of year wrap up task. I’ll continue with these next year, they’ve proved their worth and they’re a great way for me to recap as I go. Instead of listing all 99 books, I’ll just direct you to the checkpoint posts below:
#aww2018 Challenge Checkpoint 1
#aww2018 Challenge Checkpoint 2
#aww2018 Challenge Checkpoint 3
#aww2018 Challenge Checkpoint 4
#aww2018 Challenge Checkpoint 5
Since the checkpoint 5 post, I’ve read and reviewed three more books for the challenge:
Hello from the Gillespies by Monica McInerney
On the Same Page by Penelope Janu
I’ve already signed up for #aww2019, sticking with my annual goal of 80 books. It’s a good target, no need to change what’s working well! If you’d like to participate in the Australian Women Writers Challenge for 2019, you can do so by signing up here.
Congrats on smashing your AWW goal! I’ll be participating again next year too ๐
