I’ve been thinking lately that it was about time I did another #aww2018 challenge checkpoint post because it seemed like ages since my last. I just had a look back, and it was the beginning of August when I last checked in with 65 books. My total has risen to 96 books, far surpassing my target of 80!

Some good books, many I’ve read a few I haven’t. The book of ordinary people is waiting for me at the library and I’m still waiting for the Verity Fassbinder one to arrive.

Yes, the purchase order has gone through but it hasn’t arrived yet. I’m so glad they bought the ordinary people for me lol, I’m exercising my ability to get them to purchase more good books

Oh my gosh, I’ve only read one of those books – The Right Place by Carla Caruso, loved that one so much. Some of those are already on my TBR list and the others will be added shortly.
You’ve done well, Theresa!

Well done Theresa. I usually just do a “completion” post when I hit my target of 10 (because I don’t aim to make this a challenge – haha) and then one at the end of the year documenting how many I’ve really read. This year I will exceed last year’s, but that just means I’ll have read 30 or so! 96 is absolutely beyond my ken!

Thanks Sue, this is already more than my total for last year. I’m pretty pleased with the range of books I’ve read too.
There are challenge participants over in the Facebook group who have clocked over 120! Such enthusiasm! I love it.

Yes, it’s great isn’t it. I can’t manage to read 120 of any books in a year. Most days I only manage 30 minutes of reading. In fact, I haven’t even done that today yet but I’m hoping to do it before I go to bed. I think I have too many things to do, too many commitments!
