Every month, in my capacity as Editor for Historical Fiction over at the Australian Women Writers Challenge, I ’round up’ all of the reviews that have been linked in our review database and write up an editorial featuring many of the titles with extracts from the linked reviews to accompany. I take a look at which titles are the most popular, which authors are being read the most, and what’s coming up as new releases within the genre.

This month was another terrific one for historical fiction. I am wowed every month when I run a search on historical fiction reviews within the AWW books reviewed database. The popularity of Historical Fiction is not waning, and I for one, am quite thrilled about that!
